I value your opinion. I think the problem is this was an advertised and important event for Marani. Its the most important stage in company business milestones right now. So, seems like its worth the effort by Marani to stop by locally. So for the event, I agree completely. Its worth it to follow up. Send over some employees to check it out.
However, if this was not the big demo.. and just day-to-day. Costco needs to reorder for any product when the shelf is empty or the sale is really hot. Dan is not responsible for calling them every week normally.
I don't have a Costco or Sams club membership - so I dont know how good or bad their restocking process is. I wouldnt get too hung up on "back order" . The distributor can easily drop off more especially if Dan calls them up and raises hell. We are only talking a few cases here. Not crates of 2-liters of cola. We know the product is there in the warehouse.
Costco is a little different than HiTimes. Dan cannot just drop over bottles like he said they did before. The Costco inventory system is more complicated. Looking forward to hearing Marani's side of the story on this.
