I think a min. trade size of 100.00 or something similar will stop some of the manipulation of otc securities.  Maybe we can suggest this to finra. Need a group though to suggest such an idea.  I figure the BCAP crew would be a good start.



Alright. Do you think min.  trade size orders of $100 is a worthy suggesting to finra in otc securities. If so is there anywhere on the finra site where an investor can suggest this.


Sure it is worthy suggestion, but it takes more of a review process from those effected by such decisions, brokers , broker dealers and clearing/settlement firms must all weigh in and provide feedback as to effect to them and their bottom line. Personally I think it would be a slam dunk as it eliminates BS trades that require clearing and settlement for such a ridiculous amount of dollar value. 

Would brokers give up the fees? Would broker dealers give up their take on such BS trades? It is money in their pocket no matter the size of the block. 

But you never know as most of these brokers really do not want to do with these junk securities any longer.
