Not true. A margin account allows you to trade, as was mentioned in Warp's "revised" post, without those restrictions. Call it revolving credit if you will...it's based on your "credit rating" so to speak with your broker when the account was originally opened...it can also be converted later to a margin account later if the original account was a cash account...
