Honestly, I watched the presentation and I don't remember seeing p-values of 0.003. I do remember seeing values of 0.01 and 0.03 in one of the slides. While these values aren't as good as 0.003, they both indicate strong statistical significance and indicate a high probability the observed results were not due to chance. But there's a chance I missed the 0.003 value as I got up at one point to get a cup of coffee.

One thing is clear. The results presented all showed strong statistical significance, even with the small sample size. Gerald mentioned this as one of the things that impressed the biomarker specialists present at the conference.
