What does that .003 mean? God I wish I knew the significance.

I have a hunch that majority of the market, including myself, especially, is focused way too much on the sens and spec numbers than the actual science behind our test so when Dr. Kirby says something to the effect, as he did in today's summit, paraphrasing here, "so if we want to raise this sensitivity percentage from this here 70 to something higher we would just have to tweak.....a little" my mind goes wild and I begin worrying about my hard earned investment! We know quack doctors will pounce on that 70 number until the cows come home, too, and that just blows...

Was poor data presented today? I don't think so. But please don't ask me to explain why...I just wish I could buy more, unfortunately, I bought more yesterday!
