Exactly. I'm 45 and no spring chicken and I have not used a DVD or CD in years.
Netflix, Direct TV, x box, iTunes, etc etc etc. have all but completely eliminated the use of a hard disc.
I'd sooner use a DVD or CD like a Chinese throwing star than for any multimedia application. Lol.
