U.S. stock futures up ahead of jobless claims
Qualcomm shares rise in premarket; ECB leaves rates unchanged
MADRID (MarketWatch) — U.S. stock futures rose Thursday, supported by gains for Europe markets, though investors remained on edge after fiscal-cliff worries triggered a post-election selloff for Wall Street the previous day.
Weekly jobless claims and trade-deficit numbers, along with a press conference for European Central Bank President Mario Draghi are on tap for investors. The central bank left key rates unchanged on Thursday.
