I'd be real careful giving out investment advice to any friends, especially if they're already hesitant about investing in a company. Personally, what I've done is mention that I'm in something that has a lot of potential, it's NTEK, and have them research on their own to see if they want to invest, and leave it at that. Maybe they'll thank you later.
I told my father about it a couple times about 18 months ago and he never invested. Never brought it up since, but knowing what he paid and what kind of profit he would be sitting at had he invested then...man.
Finally, I use OptionsExpress as a secondary broker because my original one won't do sub-penny trading. So far not much luck in that realm, but at least I have the option of doing so, no pun intended. So maybe if your friend wants to do some small investment, might be worth looking at another broker. Also, I bet in the long run, after audited financials and a jump in share prices, Edward Jones will be more than happy to invest in NTEK.
