Dow seeing worst day of year after Obama win
The Dow Jones Industrial Average INDU -2.29% fell sharply Wednesday, on target for its worst day of the year following President Obama’s re-election.
The index INDU -2.29% fell 300 points, or 2.25%, to 12,946 in recent action. The percentage decline would be the worst one-day slide of the year for the Dow if it closes at these levels.
The Dow’s 6-4 over the past 10 trading sessions. Its best day of the year was June 6 when it rose 2.4%.
