Unfortunately, assuming you have a large position in the company's stock, it will be become increasingy difficult, if not impossible, to unload the position in toto for sake of a tax loss as the tide of tax-loss sellers enter the market -- as time goes on and proceedings unfold. There had been a chill on AEGY that was reportedly lifted some months ago. AEGY could be then be purchased through TD Ameritrade until now. Currently, TDA restricts buys of AEGY; one can sell but not buy.
