I don't think that's a factor as the PR will not be aimed at the general public but only to the financial sector and that sector IMO is focused on PR's all the time so elections don't divert their attention from financial news.

The PR may pique the interest of a newspaper financial writer or two but that is kind of a stretch to think that would lead to much this early in the trials IMO.
