in order for someone to sell a stock there has to be a buyer, whether the seller is selling 1 share or 1 billion shares. so in order for him to actually completely sell his 1 billion shares there would had to have been either 1 buyer buying all 1 billion or several buyers buying the 1 billion. i hope fundamentally we all grasp that concept so we can move forward. volume would be 1 billion. some people like LT would say, "1 billion volume, can you imagine? the stock would be through the roof." but yet the stock is falling through the floor on a house built on sand - again proves my theory on volume doesn't mean squat
