I'll bet with a little imagination and some of these Superior conveyors we wouldn't even have to connect to the port conveyor system.. Run the accordion style conveyor along the SE edge of the breakwall near us and the scrap steel, and then a short jumper to the Telestacker for loading the ship on the eastern side of the peninsula/dock.. The Telestacker should have enough reach, so if it wasn't quite deep enough near the wall the ship could anchor out probably 60 feet to gain clearance depth.. Dredging is an option also..
If we keep at it I'm sure someone can come up with the "Bingo moment" for ship loading, now that we have more options.. http://www.marinetraffic.com/ais/
Talk about handy tools if we start mining the other claims and ship out of the other side of the Baja. Bob already told me they were very interested un using a floating dock but was somewhat hindered by loading equipment. Not any more.. A 600 ft floating dock, one of the accordian conveyors, and a Telestacker and we are good to go for ship loading!! I'm ready for some double dipping..LOL!
