You really think they're going to just give him 120M shares, after he already aqcuired $300K worth just a few weeks ago? Come on...
The SEC would shut them down INSTANTLY if they simply decided to award hundreds of millions of shares to BOD members. He paid for the shares, I can guarantee you that much.
