Hi CWRN.
This is a portable mobile conveyor, loading iron ore on a ocean going ship. It can move anywhere on the dock as needed. About a thousand tons an hour from what I read in another article. I believe this one is made by Superior but not positive. If we had a couple of these on our end of the dock we could knock out a shipload in less than 2 days and not be in the way of the container ships. It might take some additional dredging on our end of the dock but sure would be worth the outcome. Load one half of the ship on the NE side of the dock and then just spin it 90 degrees and load the other half on the SE side of the dock. I would bet the price tag on this rig isn't as high as one might expect and we could send out 3 ships a week in the future if we really have the goods..
