greed/politics/Lobbyists/money/lead to stupidity if one does not ask questions like "should we do it?"...the questions money folks ask is "We could do it" Anything is possible" Live your dream" ...All done without followup on what could happen. If its not in the budget or gonna make profit screw the environment/safety. we only learn after its too late. we take things for granted until it gets bad. and then we tend to look to blame somebody except ourselves
