Both the city council and "residents" were and likely still are woefully ignorant about any of the details. It strikes me that all but maybe a couple of the council members took absolutely no time to educate themselves at all. One would think they would have asked HC for information so they would know if the applicant was at least meeting the necessary standard for an MMJ operation set forth by HC. It is apparent that didn't happen. I think it should be incumbent upon the council members to not only educate themselves but also their constituents.
