He sounds a bit annoyed by shareholder's frustration and questions. Wasn't there anyone in Gerald's inner circle to tell him prior to Copenhagen that if he failed to reveal the most important LymPro data which everyone was waiting for, shareholders would be disappointed?
He did intimate a few weeks ago that he was "contemplating" delaying some of the data until the July 31st Conference, yet most of us on Monday were expecting to hear the big results on Tuesday and were disappointed when it didn't happen.
If Copenhagen wasn't the right forum to announce the really important LymPro data....he should have simply told us so. That would have BETTER MANAGED EXPECTATIONS and avoided the embarrassing sell off immediately following his PR yesterday, when it failed to deliver the Becton Dickenson Specificity and Sensitivity numbers.
