Re: gobears1985 #1892
I find it best to stick to the info released by the company in press releases, CEO blogs and presentations. While much of the discussion on the boards is interesting, it quite often leads to false expectations among investors. Sticking to the facts and not investor speculation will keep expectations realistic. I don't feel the need to have an explanation for every sell off. There are both traders and long term investors in this stock, so it will be a roller coaster ride as we move forward. Everything will unfold as it is meant to unfold. I have faith in the science and our management to execute their plan and to keep me informed, and they have been outstanding in that regard.
Like another poster advised, it's usually good to get away from the computer and focus on the other parts of our lives besides the day-to-day share price movement of this investment. For longs, we should be able to go for weeks at a time without an update or even knowing what the share price is, and be comfortable with our investment, if we are truly the longs we claim to be.
For the record, I don't feel I was tricked. The decision to delay releasing the data until end of July was always a possibility and Gerald told us in advance of this option.
