Keep an eye on the TX case register!
It looks to me like the CA case is being abated (continued) pending an outcome in the TX case; a decision in the TX case likely affects relief in the CA case; so all eyes should be on the TX case right now.
Per the TX case register, it looks like the TX case started trial on 7/14: the register indicates that the jury was sworn, evidence commenced, etc.
The suspense is killing me.
