MADRID (MarketWatch) — U.S. stock market futures traded in tight ranges on Thursday, as the market awaited a data deluge, including weekly jobless claims and a key survey of manufacturers.
In Asia, Chinese manufacturing data were upbeat, but dismal results from Sharp Corp. in Japan weighed on sentiment.
