They are very inconsistent at the "old place." On the board of one stock that I own, someone who repeatedly posted obvious bashing materials, including lots of untrue stuff, accused the founders of being crooks and then said "this is a notorious pump and dump website." I posted that people should be very careful about posting actionable libelous material, and that that kind of bashing could lead to legal troubles for the poster. The moderators sent ME a warning email that I was "perilously close" to being put in their jail, and allowed the basher to continue posting what I consider to be libel.

So, I mostly stopped posting on that board. It certainly was not the better board for that.
