I live in Cape May County.  I live about five miles inland.  The worst part of the storm here was the storm surge, coupled with the full moon.  There was MAJOR flooding in all of the coastal communities here.  There are pictures of sharks swimming through the streets of Atlantic City.  Hmmm sharks in a gambling town. 

Honestly at my house the wind wasn't that bad until late last night, I had power until 7:30 pm, but its been out since then.  I have lots of friends who live on the barrier islands, some have been through this before, some not.  They all left well in advance of the storm, but there are lots of people who stayed in their homes.
