I have Interactivebrokers (via a German broker) ... and although they are very popular, wellknown and allegedly good in several regards I actually hate especially 3 (for me important) things:
1. horrible prices for pennystocks (e. g. I buy 100K NTEK-shares at 0.07 I have to pay ca. $ 60 commissions ... no flatrate (blue chips may be cheap but we speak about pennies) ...
2. 500K shares maximum ... so if buying e. g. 2M (not NTEK, LOL ... I have several M) you have to pay 4 x ca. 1% of the TS ...
3. Restriction for non-eligible (?) stocks ... annoying, because you miss sometimes big profits because you just can sell that stock ... not the case as I know at ETRADE and others (however same situation unfort. at TDA) ... as European I can´t get ETRADE.
