To help pass the time during this lead-in to the holiday weekend (not much action volume wise in OTC-ville), I thought I'd share an observation or two with regard to the www.zeustravelinc.com website.
- First of all, it appears as though some activity is taking place. The previous home page featuring the Zeus Travel logo and the "Coming Soon" message has been removed, with a generic "parked domain" message in its place. After a domain has been registered, it goes into a "parked" status as it awaits web content to be associated to it. The previous web content may have served as a placeholder while the new web content is being finalized; with the previous content being brought down, we may see the new content shortly.
- A quick check of the WHOIS database for zeustravelinc.com reveals a couple of interesting details. The most obvious detail is the final registrant information, which is PV Enterprises International, Inc. The other detail worth noting, however, is the company providing the name server for the domain: patsis.org. If you navigate to the company's web site (www.patsis-web.gr), you'll note that there is a decidedly Greek flavor to the company. It's possible that this company is also providing the web hosting for the PVEI web site. And, if the web site designer is using his/her e-mail address as the "admin e-mail" for the domain, he/she may be Greek as well based on the e-mail name.
