Guru: Watch those bear raids!!! never have any foodstuffs in your room at night or anything smelly like toothpasts. They can climb, so string everything up high. Sometimes there are things called "bear poles" for this purpose. Give them a clear path from the food... the bear pole.. to the water. That is their path.
