Seems like my initial impressions have been wrong. Sorry about the confusion there.
That said, you're right. I've mentioned the exact same thing to those admins and that there was a conflict of interest because so many posts were being deleted by someone with an interest of suppressing any useful information. All I heard back was that because I had so many posts deleted, that I was "perilously close to being banned." I tried to explain that those post deletions were why I was writing because there *was* a conflict. All I got back was that I needed to check the TOS again because I was very close to being permanently banned. I just gave up after that.
