Separate out the concept of the shares being a trading vehicle from those shares being ownership of JBI and being entitled to all future dividends. Is it likely that the share price dropped 98.5% due to manipulation?? Probably not. For an analogy, could someone 'bash' the price of a perfectly good $700,000 house down to $10,000?? Probably not. At some point someone will see there's nothing wrong and buy it well before it drops to $10,000.
So make a guess at what the company is really worth. If Mr. Bordynuik's claims about being able to make diesel out of readily accessible plastic for under $10/bbl ($0.25/gallon) are true, I'm sure the value would be up there with Ford or Facebook. $50 billion, $500 per JBI share, wouldn't be unreasonable. If, on the other hand, Mr. Bordynuik is a complete liar like I believe, JBI is worth exactly zero.
So if you think the odds of Mr. Bordynuik being honest are greater than 1 out of 5,000, I would encourage you to buy shares at the current $0.10. At $0.10, it seems the market has Mr. Bordynuik almost completely pegged as a liar...and a few stragglers hold out hope that he's not. If he's the complete liar I think he is, the shares are worth $0.00.
