The reason the physicians have stopped taking new Medicare patients is because of the cuts to Medicare and there are more cuts just waiting to be enacted. My doctor is not accepting new Medicare patients and told me he has only 4 minutes to spend with each patient based on his Medicare reimbursements! That is his break even and he is a primary care physician!
