As soon as the thumbs-up on maintenance is given, those engines have to be run on a weekly (or biweekly?) basis.
By delaying the few final checks to the very last minute....until absolutely necessary....HQ saves about $5,000 per week in fuel and labor costs (so I've heard).
Patience. When the training nears completion towards third week of July, I believe we will hear that the plane is all ready to go as well.
I'm hoping they spread those 2 PRs out by 7 to 10 days....a chance for us to cycle rumor to news to next rumor to more news.
