The problem with your argument,although I agree with you for the most part, is that not everyone has the funds to average down over the dips. I understand what your saying but everyone has their own self interests (as it should be, that's part of capitalism) and some are just not in the same economic position to add or continue holding. The other piece is the fear factor which sometimes this company plays right into...imo
