The monster 80256 DWT Ilia was I believe limited to ca 69000 tons of CWRN ore because its draft w that much ore was 13.7 m- too deep to transit the canal
so that gives shipowners of such large Panamax's a carrot to do a transpacific voyage until larger locks are operational
