You are Correct, Some shorts, Can cut losses some Cannot
If they got out today, with a 15% loss, that would be a good day trading for them.
Shorts are supposed to cut losses ASAP, but some are working right now with other's to scheme a way to not loose so much!
Very stupid idea if anyone with a short position did not cover yet! We may have some news and big buyers coming in.
Then the shorts will get filled whenever at whatever price!
Who is selling? It has to be them selling to themselves. They are looking for trades that were left open to trigger them, that is why tey always do those trades of 100 - 2500 shares. That is a person checking to see if there is an order that is triggered or an order there!!
