Agree completely. The "style points" should come from solid PRs, big news, profits, etc.
When you're constantly on the defensive or attack mode, it makes it look like you're hiding something. Bill is trying to protect his baby, but is only cutting off his nose to spite his face. A smart, humorous jab is perfectly ok...but it's starting to feel very awkward when you repost your 420i attack/defend posts on the official FB page. Let's face reality. The long army of tshirt wearers wouldn't sell if Bill came out and said, "I am literally stealing your money" (a ridiculously untrue comment just for my point here). He doesn't need to pump bravado.
