Re: stocker11 #9970
You brought up that you thought the $0.42 to $0.46 I posted represented top-of-the-line virgin HDPE plastic. I just pointed out that if you want uniform, top-of-the-line plastic, you'll pay $0.69/lb. If scrap is alright then the price will be closer to $0.42 to $0.46 per pound.

Keep in mind that pure diesel is $2.96/gallon or only about $0.41/lb when you go through that math. The scrap plastic per pound that JBI needs is worth more than the resulting diesel JBI hopes to make out of it.

Then *you* brought up HTF with your mentioned $1.00/gallon cost. And I was trying to take you through the logic that if HTF costs $1/gallon and the output of plastic/HTF yields a product worth $3/gallon, then why use plastic at all?? If a plastic/HTF mixture can be pyrolyzed to $3/gallon, then why not put in as little plastic as possible and convert mostly $1/gallon HTF into $3/gallon diesel??

Yes, I understand your penny stock also is the real deal, created with the inventiveness of Edison and destined to be the next Microsoft. Yes, I understand that the delays are also only because your company is making their product and/or technology even more revolutionary.
