If I inherited a flaming mess, first thing I would do is put out the fire. Then I would assess what damage was done and determined what needed to be repaired. Once the fire is out and damage is repaired, I would develop a plan to make sure the fire doesn’t restart and the repairs are sufficient. With the past problems in order, it would be time to look to the future.
