My post is based on what seems to me to be the balance of probabilities.
Here's an interesting thought - maybe (?) the hedge fund hasn't managed to cover all the shares it needs to buy and that's why the bashers are still there.
Al that needs to happen to create a run on this stock is that the company releases a press release saying that the sale has been completed, and shareholders will receive a special dividend the amount of which is being worked out. They won't even need to say more than that I think. But really it needs to come from the company that buys the properties. Otherwise everyone will just say the same thing again.
Maybe the hedge fund that has a huge short position actually isn't NITE bit another one we don't know about?
