Now you're saying KMAG should respond with firepower. Would that be the same firepower he would also be expected by you to respond to all the bashers?

IMO, this stinks to high heaven, some collusion between MMG and an easily bribed SEC lackee. If any investigating should have been done FIRST, it'd be to investigate the shorting practices of the complaintant (MMG) to determine if there were an ulterior motive to the continual complaining.
Let's face it: nothing really suggests 16 y/o KMAG suddenly turned rogue. On the other hand, nothing suggests MMG suddenly turned legit, either. So, common sense would dictate you investigate the more likely rogue of the two. But of course, the SEC doesn't have common sense. Numerous warnings about Bernie Madoff is proof of their incompetency.
