I seem to remember reading somewhere over the weekend - (sorry I honestly can't remember whose post or where I saw it now) that actual updates on the Mexican Mining Registry can take up to a year before they are actually updated as visible to the general public.
I don't know if that means that the company agreed the sale last year and lodged the paperwork knowing that it would take a whole year to be publicly visible or if it means that the sale was registered last year but payment and terms and conditions etc would not be finalised until the transfer of title could actually be viewed.
If it really takes that long (for some strange reason) I'd guess that no company would want to acknowledge the purchase until they were sure their name was on the top on the concession titles.
So now we wait for news. Maybe late July or maybe August on my view. But I'm just guessing about when. I have not heard anything to indicate anything for sure.
