I use Td Ameritrade and I wanted to save myself a trip so while I was shopping at the supermarket I was going to do a wire into my account, they had Western Union, I called Td to confirm it was okay to do it and they said no, it had to be from my bank no third party wires accepted. Probably so they can track exactly where the money is coming from I would assume.
