The original claims from company founder John Bordynuik are that he has a secret catalyst which allows for the production of crude oil at a cost of under $10/bbl which can be sold for three dollars under the price of West Texas Intermediate crude oil, or about $105/bbl.
You're right that nobody knows whether those claims are true or not. Mr. Bordynuik has never provided any evidence to back up those claims and nobody else has access to the equipment or the numbers. It becomes a simple logic puzzle as to why he withholds the results if those results are as good as he claims.
If you are considering this as a bona fide investment in JBI, I would encourage you to get credible evidence from the company that some plastic can be converted into a fuel of a higher value. Since nobody here has access to the equipment or numbers, you won't get any proof from the message boards. It's harder to get information from the company since the company has gone silent but I would wait until you do get a response instead of throwing money at a mute company with a long history of 'bad luck'.
You can also look at the market prices of scrap plastic and see that even with 100% mass conversion of plastic to diesel, the economics would be challenging, but even that doesn't definitively prove JBI can't somehow beat the market prices, no matter how unlikely.
That said and if you're looking for a penny stock gamble, volume is low and there's the potential for the company to launch another pump campaign. That's been successfully done before. I don't feel that's a worthwhile investment nor gamble but it's a possibility. They're going to change the name and CUSIP so some new lipstick is going to be applied.

Yes, I understand your penny stock also is the real deal, created with the inventiveness of Edison and destined to be the next Microsoft. Yes, I understand that the delays are also only because your company is making their product and/or technology even more revolutionary.
