The bugs would be an issue with code under most circumstances. As long as the hardware is designed, it can be physically built and shipped off. Then if, for some reason, a flaw is found in code with drivers or firmware or operating system, this can just be updated. This happens all the time with hardware products that need firmware updates. The heartbleed security hole is a good example of this. This was a massive bug/flaw that people found, and a tremendous amount of devices were using OpenSSL so the bugs had to be fixed on all those devices, on an emergency basis in that particular case.

So this sort of thing is perfectly normal and happens all the time. Nothing to be concerned about whatsoever.
