No trades in the books for me today as market stays in a tight range.

That's just the way it goes. The first rule of boxing or MMA is to protect yourself at all times. If there's no trade setup, stay sidelined. I bet tomorrow is pretty much the same and dead by noon.

Quite honestly, there is a pretty decent chance that the markets will be on pause until after the elections. As far as I am concerned, picking between the two candidates is like picking between Mc Donalds and Burger King. Whether you pick the clown or the psychotic king, either one of them will make you fat and give you a heart attack.
