If they are smart, they would do just the opposite and take it up in hopes of inducing someone who has owned a long time and not been following closely to sell. Once a dividend program is announced it is over for those who are short. It will be very difficult to induce selling at that point and shorts hate paying dividends on air shares they are liable for. Go TEVE!!!
