Yes 12ypd I agree with that. It wasn't a deliberate lie, as in Martie going to that event with the intent to lie, yet I think its more of a case of overplaying his hand. He was at MergerMarket, with big boy companies in that event, and then its easy to say something spectacular. Who of us didn't say something in a particular moment of our lives when we were in company of someone who was bigger/better at something that made oneself look better or bigger?! Easily done, without any harm or bad intent. We all want to count, or belong with a certain group & so it was more like a bluff from Martie, tho the Pinocchio effect occurs in such situations as well. Whether it is a blatant lie or a bluff... in the end one can at least say it was not honest... hence the subconscious reaction: nose scratch... or next to it

Some people liked my keen observations, others didn't. Key point is I was being honest & forthright... & thats all that matters to me!
