wg: Shysters in general are more Scrooge than Santa Claus. After all, they've been at this game of milking the public for years, and are expert hustlers. Asking them for a handout isn't likely to fly. A credible threat of legal action that could rip their assets from them and ruin their days for many years is probably a better way to bring them to heel.
