Well said, but I do think that if you announce something and due to circumstances maybe beyond your control you are going to miss that announced event somehow you need to communicate with your followers that it is not going to happen as planned and if possible let us know why. It would strengthen your credibility and transparency. Letting the date go by without any announcement does the opposite.
