Writers Wanted - Traders & Investors Learn More
As you may know, the MVP board houses the rankings and award information for the contest on istockify. This is a growing site and they are looking for content writers like yourself.
Investors and traders that read sites like Seeking Alpha know that articles are often written by users of that site or just investors of that site, and the articles are not necessarily written by professional analysts. However, most of those articles deal with Big Board stocks and less so the OTC markets. This is the reason iStockify is looking for content writers to share fundamental analysis, information, and/or technical analysis of OTC stocks. You already know a ton about the stocks you follow, so why not share your opinions and bring more awareness to your stocks by writing for them.
If you are interested in submitting an article, visit the iStockify Article Submission page or private message RobInvest (myself) with your article. Thanks in advance for your support of iStockify.
Here is the information on istockify about submitting articles:
We welcome traders and investors to contribute to our growing community. Here’s what you need to know about writing and submitting articles on our site:
Word count: No minimums but posts typically run between 250-800 words. Please stay under 800 words. For longer articles, we may break-up the article into multiple pages.
Tone: Inclusive, accessible, and rational. Take a look around our site and see what we’ve previously posted as well as articles submitted by other members of our community.
Original Content: We ask that articles submitted be unique and original to iStockify. We DO NOT accept posts that have already been published or submitted elsewhere online (not even on stock message boards or forums) or that you plan to distribute to other websites. Readers value original content.
We are not interested in SEO-driven submissions (i.e. simply geared toward driving traffic to your blog or website) that are not in line with our philosophy: If you work for a content farm or are a freelancer who writes articles for the sole purpose of linking up keywords in an effort to boost SEO, we are not interested. If your submission or author bio references or promotes a business or service that is not in line with our sites content (e.g. a get rich scheme), then we are not interested.
Acceptance: Since we do not compensate contributors for posts, we’re more than happy to include a byline and your brief bio containing links to your website, Facebook, Twitter accounts, which we will promote when your article goes live. Please keep your bio to just 2-3 sentences. iStockify is a great resource to share your day trading ideas and investing strategies, as well as share Due Diligence on specific stocks.
Once your article goes live, please share with your fellow day traders & investors, friends, and family via email, your website, Facebook, Twitter, and any other social media. You may share on stock message boards and forums, but keep in mind their posting policies and avoid re-posting the entire article (i.e. post a link to your article with a brief summary instead). The more people who view your post, the better is it for you and the better it is for iStockify. If your post performs extremely well and you become a regular contributor (two posts a week), you can earn a featured spot on our homepage.
We love connecting with new contributors. While we cover an insane amount of ground, iStockify consists of just a few people. As such, sometimes we don’t have the opportunity to respond to all article submissions. We can assure you, however, that we carefully read every single submission that we receive. If your post has been accepted, we generally respond within 24 hours. You’re welcome to submit again with a different post after you’ve waited 1 business day.
Disclosure: You must post a disclosure at the end of each article submitted about a specific company or stock exchange to tell the reader if you are invested (short-term or long) in the company, shorting the stock, or hold no shares. Promoters must disclose any form of compensation below article post. Articles submitted with specific analysis (e.g. tax tips) should disclose if you are a financial adviser or simply stating financial information. We will add a disclosure at the end to let readers know that your article is an opinion and they should invest at their own risk (i.e. the typical legal disclosure).
Please send your article in a message below or contact us to apply for an author account. Those applying for author accounts, be sure to include the topics you are most likely to cover. If we accept your request, we will create an author account for you and provide you information on how to get started posting articles. We look forward to working with new writers here on iStockify.
By submitting to iStockify you acknowledge that you accept our terms & conditions, and any form of editing that might occur on behalf of the iStockify editorial team.
Again, visit the iStockify Article Submission page or private message RobInvest (myself) with your article if you are interested in becoming a contributor on iStockify.
