That plane is in great shape. It was originally owned by Northwest, and all of the paperwork necessary to document the repairs and compliance with FAA requirements is completely in order.
In other words....over the years.....every directive that the FAA has put out regarding that model plane has been met, and the documentaion is there to prove it.
N706BL has completed the C1 through C4 checks and is being reassembled as we speak.
She is due to come out of the hangar towards the end of next week.
Remember......you can listen to Troyal and Star (who once snuck onto the private board under the alter alias GoBaltiaGo until papa nasty discovered him) or even Pipa......but I do my DD.
While in the Dominican Republic last year on vacation with my fiance, I met the young lady in charge of ordering the parts for the planes as they go through their C-checks at Kalitta. Fate decided to land her and her new husband on the same Zip-line platform as my fiance and I as we waited out a thunderstorm.
LOL.......we have stayed in contact ever since.
Rest assured.....at the present time.....N706BL is due to roll out of that hangar on 6/12.......flight ready.......
