Pipa, I could easily have that post deleted for like a half dozen reasons - but I won't. I want everyone here to have the chance to see both sides.
I don't believe I am "pumping." What I do believe is that I am being honest in my opinions - as I always have been - and right now I am hearing one positive thing after another.
Do you doubt that at my investment level I have access to some other very influential investors? Do you remember that I have a contact in Michigan who is responsible for ordering the repair parts for the planes as they move through their C checks?
I am not sure of what angle you are coming from, but I do believe that I have heard that you sold off your BLTA.....and that is fine. It is just that I think you are headed for a very "sour grapes" outcome.
I truly believe the beginning of June marks the turning point for Baltia - and I feel that if you wait too much longer to get back in, you will certainly have missed the boat.
My funds cleared. I can pull the trigger any day, but I have given everyone here the chance to get back in or to pick up more for the rest of this week.
Comes Friday my "generosity" will most likely cease.
There is a tremendous amount of confidence in BLTA and in its staff among the top owner's of this company....and a tremendous amount of determination to see this come to a positive conclusion (and by "conclusion", what I really mean is the commencement of a totally new existence for Baltia Air Lines).
At your stage in life, perhaps you can comfortably sit back and watch BLTA unfold before your eyes: I can not. I have always been a go getter and a do-er, and I can't stop now. It's just that I want a few of those other go getters and do-ers to take advantage of the situation at hand - so that I can have one last go at a real college fraternity type celebration that I haven't enjoyed in about the last 30 years.
Vasectomy reversal June 10th, 50th birthday July 12th, married July 22 (she insisted upon the pre-nuptual...I think because she wants to remove everyone's doubt that this is about $), my gal's pictures come out in NYC Vintage Magazine's July edition, and a huge party celebrating a combination of most of the above on August 9th (Moroccan style with hooka, belly dancers, fire dancers, etc.).
I used to hear "life starts at 50." Now I know what they mean (and no.....this is not a mid life crisis. LOL.....I'm still driving the same truck that I have been driving for the last 14 years!)

Truthfully, only time will tell....and fortunately, that time is finally just around the corner.
